Who We Are
Welcome to the home of Under An English Sky Yarns. My name is Shirley-Ann and I hand-dye luxury yarns from my studio in Cheshire. Under An English Sky Yarns was established in 2015 and was inspired by the desire to establish a homespun creative business that reflected my love of traditional needle crafts and fibre. We would have loved to have farmed the land, raised our own livestock and utilised and processed the fleece from start to finish. It remains a dream and goal to live a simple and sustainable life off the land but for now, I am embracing my suburban reality and producing yarn and accessories that bring joy to the heart's of knitters and crafters worldwide.

What I love about the yarny community is that we all share a passion for creating in form or another. On my blog I write about my love of creating a homespun home where friends and family feel cherished and loved. You will find articles on knitting, creating, gardening, and the traditional art of homemaking. There will often be a strong seasonal influence as I love to embrace what each season has to offer.
