Hi, my name is Shirley-Ann and I’m so glad that you have popped in for a visit!

Why not grab a cup of tea, or coffee if you prefer, and lets get to know each other.

Let me tell you a little about me. I’m a born again Christian, wife to a wonderful man and mother to two young adult daughters. In 2019 we graduated our youngest daughter from our homeschool. Yip, we spent 14 years on a wonderful homeschooling journey. You can read all about our homeschooling adventures on my Blogspot blog by the same name, Under An English Sky.

Now that we have finished homeschooling I have decided to concentrate and re-focus my blog on my creative passions which are dying yarn, knitting, homekeeping and season keeping. So I guess that is what you can expect to read on this blog. Posts of a creative, very yarny, and down-to-earth nature.

I’ll share creative projects I’m working on whether that be knitting, crochet, sewing or crafting. I’m all about creating a warm, inviting and homespun home. A place of comfort and refuge from an often chaotic world.

I’ll share posts on home keeping and organization. After all, our homes are where our friends and families are nurtured, resorted, and built up before going out into the world.

Finally, I’ll share posts that are inspired by the seasons. I’m quite a seasonal person, I’m inspired by the little things that each season, whether natural or litergical, hold. So it may be how I decorate my home for fall or perhaps how we observe Advent or Lent. It could be a seasonally appropriate craft such as makeing a door wreath from collected autumnal leaves or a new recipe that goes down a treat. You can expect all this and more.

I do hope that we will become good friends and enjoy crafting, home and the seasons together.
