If you take a walk along an English country lane or along the canals and rivers in May you are in for a treat for the cow parsley is at its best creating a soft frothy haze of white and green as far as the eye can see. The Meadows are speckled bright yellow with buttercups and rapeseed flowers which release a sweet perfume that fills the air as the earth warms under the blue late spring sky.

You close your eyes and raise your face to the sun, breathing in the fragrance of the countryside. You can hear the birds singing and the scurrying of tiny hedgerow creatures in the lush undergrowth. Time stops. You connect with nature and the elements and your soul is refreshed.

Soon it is time to head back to your little cottage where homebaked bread is hot out of the oven and homemade soup provides a hearty and nourishing midday meal. Life is good...

Yarn Details:

~ Hand Dyed Sock Yarn, 100g, 4 ply

~ 75% Superwash Wool

~ 20% Nylon

~5% Stellina

~ High Twist for great stitch definition

~ 400m per 100g

~ Knitting Needle size - 2mm - 3mm/ US 0-2

My yarn bases come from a local supplier that prides itself in sourcing its fibre from reliable suppliers with best practices with regard to animal husbandry and the environment, something that is very important to me.

I use acid dyes unless otherwise stated.
