Fireside Stories
Hand Dyed Yarn Inspiration:
I love practising the art of Hygge - having Danish roots I'm sure that it is wired in my DNA . Hygge is a word that describes the practice of purposefully creating and embracing cosiness. So perhaps you would light candles in the autumn as the days grow shorter, or place lots of blanket's and plump cushions in the living room, inviting your family and guests to snuggle down away from the biting winds. Maybe it is making sure you have plenty of hot chocolate and all the trimmings to warm you up from the inside, and it most definitely means toasting your hand-knit sock-clad feet by a toasty fireside. The flames flicker and dance gently on the wood logs, crackling their little song and giving off a welcome heat as the winter elements beat at your windows and doors outside.
This colourway embraces that moment in time when you have shut out the winter weather and have snuggled down in front of your crackling fire with your blankets and hot chocolate and your loved ones around you. It's warm red's and yellows are sure to add to your Hygge moments this winter.
